This Lucky Woman Is A Princess After Marrying A Real Ethiopian Prince She Met At A Nightclub

Remember all that relationship advice you got from your friends telling you not to start anything serious with someone you meet at a nightclub?

Well, one lucky woman, Ariana Austin exchanged numbers with Joel Makonnen, a real Ethiopian prince at the Washington DC nightclub, and now she’s a real princess.

They had dated for 12 years before deciding to get hitched, but Joel hadn’t revealed his royal status to his current wife until later on in the relationship.

Joel, who is both handsome and a lawyer (what more can you ask for) is also the great-grandson of Haile Selassie I, Ethiopia’s last emperor who was the 225th and last in the line, ruling the East African country for 40 years until the abolition of the monarchy in 1975.

Born in Rome, Prince David Makonnen and Princess Adey Imru Makonnen, alongside their mum and dad had been forced to live in exile after a communist coup in his homeland.

Fast forward several years later to happier times, Ariana married Joel Makonnen at lavish Orthodox Christian wedding with 13 priests and the photos look amazing.

Moral of the story, don’t be afraid to be a little more open-minded and get some more numbers the next time you go out.
