Celebrations to mark Uhuru Kenyatta's landslide win turned tragic in Nakuru when a lorry playing music as locals danced ran over a 14-year-old KCPE candidate.
Kenyatta's supporters in Nakuru had poured on the streets to celebrate the victory in Mchanganyiko estate when the incident happened.
Information that the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) candidate at Lenana Primary School fractured both his legs and is currently fighting for his life in hospital.

Hi mother, Wacera Chege, confirmed to Citizen Digital that he was lying unconscious at St. Mary’s Hospital, Gilgil.
“He has also fractured both his legs and hands. I am confused at the moment because my son was to start his exams today,” Wacera was quoted as having told Citizen Digital.
He was among the one million candidates who sat for the national examination across the country on Tuesday, October 31.
