MANCHESTER CITY
Sterling wants a big move, Manchester City want a big player (which Sterling really isn’t) and Liverpool want big money. Liverpool had rejected an initial offer of 30 million Euros for Raheem Sterling from Manchester City and the Etihad Stadium side are preparing a bigger bid.
Liverpool reportedly would not let Sterling go for less than 50 million euros and Brendan Rodgers had earlier insinuated that Liverpool would be more than willing to hold Sterling until the end of his current contract. Manchester City are however not willing to pay as much as 50 million for the teenager but they would pay 40 million euros which is the amount they are reportedly getting set to put forward for Sterling’s services.
Sterling has refused to commit his long term future to Liverpool and the youngster is looking to move to a club that would guarantee him trophies and UEFA champions league football every season
